Pink eye in a good way!

(The first picture is the most accurate colourwise.)

I LOVE this bright fresh look... *_____* What do you think?

New painting!!!

I've been busy with orders for the last few months so I haven't had the time to do much painting for myself. I love the work and the (few) extra money, but honestly I feel like a whore painting stuff I'm not into... But onto something I'm very much into:

It's called: 'Sweet Revenge, Tarantino-style.'

It's about growing up and out of the shell you're given as a child. It's about the feeling of revenge when you see all the people who used to hardcore bully you, isn't the least successful and actually turns out to be quite the failure. It's about sexuality and being happy with yourself.

COONTAILS!!! (Hair)

Yeah, I discovered the name for it! (I know it's kinda pic-heavy...) I was freaking scared of doing this, but I'm super happy with the result! Again, because of my obsession with symmetry, I did two equal pieces. I did use bleach, which I know is like worshiping Satan in the long hair circuit, but I don't really care much... I'm generally very good with my hair and it's not like I did my hole head. I didn't leave it on for very long because I wanted to achieve the, much hated, brassy look. Since my natural hair colour is a light auburn, dark strawberry blond, red-ish light brown, (whatever you wanna call it!) I don't at all dislike red hues in my hair. BTW I took the pictures using my bathroom lighting wich makes my hair look anything but red. (You can see how green-ish the door looks.)
I really like the sort of feather look. If you look up coontails on google it's very scene kid-styled, but I wanted to do it in a hippie/bohemian inspired edition. It reminds me of fasan feathers. I think it looks elegantly subtle yet edgy, and if I wanna hide it I can just make a sideparting. The coontailed pieces is some of the old face framing layers I'm growing out, so they are not as long as the rest of my hair. After the bleaching I treated my hair with a nice deepconditioning, followed by some good old coconut oil! And I'm not gonna wash my hair for a week... *__________* (So far I can't feel any changes in my hair. And even though my hair is sort of fine, it's actually surprisingly strong.)

I'm cazy in love with my hair rigth now!!! <3<3<3

(Fashion)Stuff I got for Christmas!

I think some people calls it a Christmas haul, anyways, it's just some of the awesome stuff I got...
First, I love basics, and this is a very casual cotton shirt. I'm still totally in love with all nuances of wine-type colours, and grey is also one of my great loves. So it couldn't be more perfect for me!
The next item is this amazing, slouchy knit. It’s very, very big (intentionally) but it’s quite light. I love the colour and the pattern. I think it’s so pretty! I think I’ll roll up the sleeves and maybe wear a belt to cinch in my waist. I can’t wait to wear it! ^_^ And a little close up of the knit:

The next thing I got is this rad belt. I’ve wanted a chain-type belt like this for a very, very long time.
I also dig the "reptile" leather accent.
Yay! More beanies! I can't get enough of them, they are a total lifesaver on bad hair days. *____*And they are, at least in my opinion, pretty cool...

Next thing is this amazing pair of earrings. First, I’m quite obsessed with symmetry so I really like that it’s a pair and not just one chain cuff. Then, I love how dainty they are with the fine chain and the pearl stud.
I got a new hat! During the last year I’ve actually bought quite a few hats… I'm probably doing a post about it soon… :) Well, I’ve always liked this kind of “man” hat, so I was very happy when I got this for Christmas. It’s a little too big on me, but that’s okay because with my everyday bun it fits! With all my other hats I have to have my hair in a loose braid or down. So it’s actually great.
These necklaces are a little present to myself.  They were very cheap so I couldn’t resist. I adore the red one and how baroque it is. I love everything resembling that period… I love the other necklace for the simplicity and modern feel. I’ve really been into necklaces lately. And both have a gunmetal look which I absolutely love!!! ^ ^

I also got the two first seasons of both Mad Men and Vampire Diaries. I loved VD from the first few episodes, but with MM I wasn't convinced at first... But now I quite like it, so can't wait to have a series marathon! (I don't have cable or anything like that.) I also got some money and other "boring" stuff. I didn't get a ton of stuff because I'm from a very little family, but I'm very happy with what I got. I held Christmas with my mom and little brother at my place, so it was my first Christmas at my own place, so that was pretty cool. ^__^ I hope you also had an amazing time during the Holidays!

I have an itch!!! :P

Ha ha, not in a dirty way... I feel like doing something with my hair... I've had this idea for five years or something like that. I haven't done it because I didn't feel brave enough to try. It's a little difficult to actually do and I haven't yet figured out how I'm gonna do this.

I wanna do something like this. just with one or too locks. Maybe one on each side... I don't know. I think it would look quite awesome! My first idea was to do the stipes with black dye, but I'm now considering using a lighting dye, not bleach. I really like the, sort of, feather look.
I have also really been considering doing highlights. I don't know. I feel like doing fun stuff with my hair!

Length shot of november 2012!

Okay, so this is my length shot of november 2012. (Before the trim.) I definitely see some slight wave in the new nonprocessed hair! (The dye is now at BSL.)
After the trim! And another one to show how it looks after I shake my head:
I'm quite happy with the result! I think it looks better. ^_^ I may be fixing it when I get home, but I'm really happy with how my brother did my trim. He was freaking scared! XD I don't know if I'm continuing maintaning at this length or if I'll grow on...
This is what he/I cut off. Some of the cut off pieces are about 4cm and some are only about 1cm. So, I now have a U-shaped hemline which I've never had before, so I'm excited!!! :) My ends still look a bit thin so maybe I'll cut off more in two months. I'm so sleepy right now so I think I'll go to bed... ^.^

Hair and hemlines!

I have been sick for so long now, I feel like I'm going crazy! I've been taken off my painkillers, so I haven't been fun for the last few months...

This entry is mostly gonna be about my hair.

I have been maintaining at tailbone length for exactly six months now, and my ends are fuller but I can't see much improvement in the pictures. My ends are not more soft or shiny than before the trims, just fuller.
The first one is from july 2012, juuuust before I did the first trim. So this is before maintaining. I trimmed off growth from june and july.
This is from september 2012, two months later and here you can see the result of the first trim, just before the second trim. This time I trimmed off growth from august and september. Tomorrow is time for my next length shot and trim, so I'm a little excited!
After six months I feel like chaning my hemline. I am also growing out bangs and old face framing layers, and I hate how it looks on my hair. You can't really se it in the pics because I tuck it all in, but normally, when I have my hair down, it's very visible. I think a U-hemline would help a little and soften it up a bit. I also think that it will look much better with my thin ends. And I really like the softer hemlines on wavy and curly hair, so that will also work with my hair if it's really going wavy. I know I should do the "wait-(I don't remember how many weeks it was)" before cutting. But I have been thinking a lot about this for a long time, so I think I'm just gonna do it. Anyways, it's just hair! I'm getting my younger brother to help me with it, but he doesn't know it yet... I should probably tell him. XD

"New" maxi skirts.

Not too long ago I was out getting some new black fabric for some new maxi skirts, which is my basic wardrobe. So..... They were out of the fabric I like, so I had to buy something else, but that showed out to wear super fast. I could wear it maybe three times or so and then it would get little fuzzies everywhere!!! T_________T' And the fabric was not at all cheap! Well, I didn't want to just waste my time, money and effort on these skirts. So I went out and bought some chiffon and fabrics like that.
This is how some of them look like done. For a while now I've been trying to incorporate some more neutrals and earthy tones into my wardrobe. I love the hole bohemian  chic thing, it's just a little difficult for me to buy brown things... Aha ha, yeah I know it sounds stupid, but my grandma LOVES brown and orange and mouldy colours, so my hole childhood I've really hated that kind of palette. But I'm not "brownphobic" anymore. XD
I had to buy the blue toned fabrics! I'm still crazy about blue.... But to keep some simpicity to my wardrobe I made two skirts with this black, super fine mesh fabric. I know the word in danish and I googled the word but without any luck. But I think that you know what I mean by now. :)
I also found this really pretty curtain fabric. Both ends of the fabric had this effect on the ends so I made it into a maxi peplum-thing... I think it has a kind of a catholic massboy vibe to it, which I dig, weirdly enough. I don't know... I think it'll be great for a fancy boho look. It's possible to dress it down.
A little close up.
I fell over this fabric which I ADORE! I made these pants out of some of it. I had enough fabric left to make a maxi skirt, and line a bag. XD When I do pants I get so scared that I wont have enough so I end up buying way to much.

At the place I buy fabric they always have some amazing cheap leftovers, so I found this beautiful burgundy cotton. Ages ago I saw a skirt in a magazine which had a black trim detail. Fortunately I had enough black cotton fabric to make this skirt. I can't wait to wear it!

New painting!

It's called "Tears 'n' ripped Stockings".

I LOVE fall!

I still love burgundy hardcore.
I found this water filled leaf when I was out.
I really love how the naked trees contrast to the beautiful clear sky at this time of year.

The first real frost. So pretty!
And, this is my most favorite outfit lately. I made the maxi skirt myself, the white button down is thrifted and the knit is from Ginatricot. I love the simplicity, the print, the colours and texture mix. And it's super comfy and casual. ^_^
